The Arc
The Arc is a nice facility but the weightroom/cardio sections are entirely too small. The machines are basically stacked on top of one another. The goal is to have a safe enviornment, and there is so little room to move around. The weights are becoming very worn. I was working out yesterday, and one of the dumbells is about to fall apart. Many other training faclities are constantly updating equipment.
Off campus living and meal plans
I have never lived on campus, so I have never even been to The Flu. I transferred here and was not required to live on campus. I have had Boozle a few times, but it seems to cause me horrible indigestion. I had problems like this when I ate the food at my old school's cafeteria. I think this is much unhealthier and expensive to participate in the meal plan program. Most of the time students eat far more and far unhealthier than they should. This is a simple choice that can be made to benefit your health. The only way that a meal plan should be purchased is to occasionally eat off campus. Students should not rely on all you can eat food all day every day.

Project NATAL
Microsoft has been developing a device that can be attached to the Xbox 360 console that will enable controller free gaming. Imagine driving a car in a video game pretending to steer with a wheel, work pedals, and shift, all with no controller. This is a product that will revolutionize the gaming industry. Microsoft will be releasing this product in December of 2010. If you are interested in learning more go to xbox.com.

Scheduling Classes
I am a transfer student, currently enrolled in my third semester at SRU. Something should be done to regulate the scheduling crisis. The way that registration works on our campus is very inefficient. There are many problems with scheduling that can be easily resolved by redesigning the scheduling system.
